Here at Texas Highlands Construction, we understand there’s a stigma about contractors, home builders, and the construction industry in general. It seems everyone has a horror story about a time they (or someone they know) were overpromised, misled, or blatantly cheated by a contractor.
Our team aims to do things differently. Our word is our bond, and we believe that transparency is the best way to build rapport and lasting relationships. That’s why we list many of our commonly asked questions here for you to read through beforehand. It’s our way of shifting the paradigm of builder work in the Texas Hill Country.

What Do You Specialize in?
Texas Highlands specializes in building custom guest homes, large residential remodel projects, and all handyman jobs.
How Long Does It Take to Get an Estimate?
Texas Highlands will typically come out within one business day to perform a job assessment and provide an estimate.
How Do You Charge for Projects?
Our company will give a free estimate which will include a fixed price cost for each project.
Do You Hire Subcontractors?
At various times we may need the assistance of another company in a particular specialty; however, 95% of jobs are performed by our own company.
Do You Provide Financing?
Texas Highlands does not offer financing options. Payments are due in full at the end of each project.
Are You Insured?
Yes, Texas Highlands is an insured company.
